When Hagar faces an incredibly difficult situation, she makes a rash decision. Rather than chastising her or punishing her, the Lord responds with compassion and helps her save her son. We can follow the Lord's example in this story and learn to listen with compassion, even when people may not be communicating in the healthiest way.
