Our mission is to preserve New Church audio recordings and make them available to all. We provide audiobooks of works by Emanuel Swedenborg, recordings of New Church sermons, Swedenborgian classes, and more. These offer opportunities for Bible study and spiritual growth, exploring Biblical symbolism and New Church theology.

New Church Audio is a program of The New Church, an international Christian organization.

The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

  • Anxiety

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 19 May, 2024

Anxiety is all around us in today’s world. It is in ourselves, our friends, our communities. Does this abundant anxiety exemplify a lack of faith in the Lord? Not necessarily. It is true that faith in the Lord can help overcome anxiety; and as we grow in faith we may find that anxiety lessens. But as long as we love what is good, we will feel fear when that good thing is put at risk. The real question is what will we do with the anxiety that we feel, and can we be motivated by it to make a more loving, safe, world? | By Rev. Joel C Glenn , Westville, RSA

  • What is it?

Worship Service: Informal Family - 26 Feb, 2023

The whole of Exodus Chapter 16 contains a detailed description of how the Israelites were to handle the Manna - when to collect it, how much, not save it overnight, etc. The leading idea is that each person “gathered according to each one’s need” (v. 18). We will consider needs versus wants as they relate to trusting the Lord and His Providence. | By Rev. Derek P. Elphick , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • What To Do In Captivity

Worship Service: Informal Family - 29 Mar, 2020

At the end of 2nd Kings, the children of Israel and Judah were taken into captivity, away from the Promised Land. Jeremiah the prophet wrote a letter to them, comforting them, telling them the Lord would bring them back eventually, and giving them hope and advice about what to do during their captivity (see Jeremiah 29-31). This advice can be relevant for us during our current “captivity” as well. • Freedom from Anxiety

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 22 Apr, 2018

Fear and anxiety are inevitable in life. Nor is that a bad thing. Fear of failure motivates us to succeed, anxiety brings our attention to problems that we need to overcome. But when we are crippled by these things, and our choices are limited by our fears, we cannot grow the way we would want. The Lord tells us what we can do then: seek first the kingdom of God. If we manage to get our priorities right, then our anxieties, although still present, will be longer control us. | By Rev. Joel C Glenn , Westville, RSA
