Our mission is to preserve New Church audio recordings and make them available to all. We provide audiobooks of works by Emanuel Swedenborg, recordings of New Church sermons, Swedenborgian classes, and more. These offer opportunities for Bible study and spiritual growth, exploring Biblical symbolism and New Church theology.

New Church Audio is a program of The New Church, an international Christian organization.

The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

Worship Service: Family (may include music) - 15 Jun, 2025

John saw a vision of two witnesses who were put to death and raised to life (Revelation 11). • The Two Witnesses

Worship Service: Sermon only - 15 Jun, 2025

In Revelation 11, John describes a vision of two witnesses. They represent the two essentials of the New Church. These two essentials are under constant threat of attack - in the vision, the two witnesses were even put to death - but the Lord protects them and can revive them, just as He revived the witnesses in John’s vision. | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • Welcoming the King

Worship Service: Family (may include music) - 13 Apr, 2025

When the Lord was preparing to enter Jerusalem, His followers laid their garments down in the way before him and shouted out, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Luke 19:37). What does it mean to welcome the Lord as the King of our lives? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • Laying Our Garments Before the King

Worship Service: Sermon only - 13 Apr, 2025

The Lord’s closest disciples laid their own garments on the donkey, and as the Lord rode the donkey into Jerusalem, the crowds laid their garments before Him on the road. In laying down their garments, all of them were giving up something of their own for the Lord, symbolically humbling themselves before Him. What does this mean for us? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • A Shining Face

Worship Service: Informal Family - 20 Oct, 2024

When Moses returned to the people from speaking with the Lord, his face shone. Angels, too, have shining faces. How can we see the light of heaven reflected in others’ faces? • Bread from Heaven

Worship Service: Informal Family - 22 Sep, 2024

Every day for over 40 years, the Children of Israel were fed with miraculous manna. But Jesus said that He Himself was the true bread from heaven, more miraculous than manna. How do we receive the bread of life from the Lord? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral Undercroft

  • The Parable of the Two Brothers

Worship Service: Family (may include music) - 8 Sep, 2024

The Lord told a parable about two brothers (Matthew 21:28-32). The first brother said he would not do as his father asked, but later he regretted it and did the work. The second agreed to work but didn’t actually do it. If we have said “no” to the Lord, we still have a chance to change our mind; and if we have said “yes,” we still have to follow through on our promises. | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • Good Intentions

Worship Service: Sermon only - 8 Sep, 2024

The road to hell is paved with good intentions… or so the saying goes. The Heavenly Doctrines say good intentions can take a person to heaven. But what does it mean to really intend something? To want to do it? To do it whenever the opportunity arises? We’ll explore the question through the lens of the Lord’s parable of two brothers whose deeds do not match their words (Matthew 21:28-32). | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • A Higher Law

Worship Service: Informal Family - 7 Jul, 2024

The law said that someone who prayed to anyone other than the king would be thrown into the lions’ den. But Daniel followed a higher law. America was founded in part on a belief that the laws of justice transcend temporary edicts of a king. How do we love our country while looking first to the Lord’s higher law? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral Undercroft

  • Mothering Moses

Worship Service: Informal Family - 12 May, 2024

Several women played mothering roles in the life of Moses: his own mother, his sister, Pharaoh’s daughter. We will celebrate the mother figures in our own lives, and we will reflect on the church as spiritual mother, nurturing us and encouraging us to nurture one another. | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral Undercroft

  • Taking up the Cross

Worship Service: Sermon only - 17 Mar, 2024

When the Lord’s disciples argued over who might sit on the Lord’s right hand and left hand in heaven, the Lord called them to think differently about greatness: they should seek to be least, rather than greatest, and to serve, rather than being served (Mark 10). How do we live by those teachings? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • True Humility

Worship Service: Informal Family - 4 Feb, 2024

Jesus told a parable about two people who were praying (Luke 18). One gave thanks that he was better than other people; the other would not even raise his eyes to heaven, but simply asked for mercy. How can we recognize our immense need for mercy and forgiveness without giving in to despair? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Cathedral Undercroft

  • The Wasteful Son and His Responsible Brother

What does this parable have to say to us no matter which part of this story we are in? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • Cast the Net on the Right Side

After the Lord’s resurrection, His disciples went fishing. All night they caught nothing; but in the morning, when Jesus appeared on the shore and told them to cast the net on the right side of the boat, they did so – and they caught a huge number of fish (John 21). What does this story teach us about changing how we approach things that aren’t working in our lives? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • Coming Through the Fire

Worship Service: Informal Family - 23 Jan, 2022

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego followed the Lord even when doing so meant they would be thrown into a fiery furnace. How can we find that kind of courage and confidence? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • The Promise of God-With-Us

Worship Service: Informal Family - 6 Dec, 2020

The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him that Mary would give birth to a Son from the Holy Spirit. This would fulfill the prophecy of a virgin conceiving and bearing a Son named “Immanuel,” which means “God with us.” The Lord was born in this world to be “God with us.” But what does this mean for us here and now, when we cannot see His physical body with our eyes or touch Him with our hands? How can we know that He truly is with us? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

Worship Service: Informal Family - 15 Jul, 2018

A man had been sick for 38 years, and the Lord asked him a strange question: “Do you want to be made well?” Of course, he wanted to be made well! But maybe it's not such a strange question after all. Aren't there areas of our lives where part of us doesn’t WANT the Lord's healing? How can we allow the Lord to transform those parts within us? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

Worship Service: Informal Family - 26 Mar, 2017

The Lord healed a man who had been blind from birth by putting clay on his eyes and sending him to wash in the pool of Siloam. The man did as the Lord told him, even though he didn't know who the Lord was, and was able to see. How can we learn from this blind man's example and learn to see clearly? | By Rev. Coleman S. Glenn , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall
