In Joshua chapter 24, Joshua reminded the people of all that the Lord had done to bring them into their country. He said they were free to serve whichever gods they liked, but he also said: “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” How does loving our country connect with loving and serving the Kingdom of God?
