Nebuchadnezzar demanded that the Jews in exile, participate in the court worship of idols on the threat of death. The three Jews in question refused because they were not going to commit idolatry. Idolatry in our age is ways of thinking and living, it is the things that we make most important in our life. Can we have the courage to think and live as the Lord invites us to even at pain of persecution and rejection by others?
