Love to the Lord and love of self are opposed to each other. If we enter the kingdom of God, love to the Lord rules. If we do not enter the kingdom of God, it is probable that love of self will rule. If we wish to enter the kingdom of God, by ordering our outward activities to act in conjunction with the Lord.
