At the end of the Gospels, the Lord commissioned His disciples to go out and bring His presence to other people. In John chapter 20, He breathed on His disciples and said “Receive the Holy Spirit.” This service includes the Stephen Ministry Commissioning ceremony as part of the Informal Service.
