Jesus, though well aware of the brewing anger of the religious leaders, intentionally chose to perform an amazing miracle very close to Jerusalem. He knew how the religious leaders would respond and accepted the confrontation that His actions would provoke. We also can recognize qualities in our own minds that would harm us and others and confront them.
