Jonah the prophet was told by the Lord to go to Nineveh, to preach against their wickedness. But instead he went the opposite direction, and was eventually cast into the sea and swallowed by a great fish, which was prepared by the Lord for him. What is the “whale” or the “great fish” that the Lord prepares for us? How can something as scary as that represent the Lord's love for us?
