The Word of the Lord is written with many pairs to describe to us joining together our head and our heart. When we read the Word we learn about what will make us happy. When we live it, the Lord gives us happiness. Thanksgiving is important as a reminder to think about the gifts of the Lord, then our heart can be joyful and our head can be glad.
