We might grieve the loss of some ideal in us that now seems lost. However, we need to remember that our grieving shows that we care about being the best person we can be. We should also remember that the Lord is only concerned about the present and the future. The past is gone. And, His forgiveness is absolute for those who seek to walk in His ways.
