The focus is on the story of the Lord placing a child before His disciples and saying that to receive the child in His name is to receive Him. In other words, the Lord was encouraging the disciples, and indeed all people, to put away self-centeredness, and to grow to become truly humble. This was the way to become joined to Him and His kingdom.
