Forgiveness is a process that grows out of our relationship with the Lord and spiritual maturity. However, the work we have to do to forgive grows us. Forgiving actions or words calls on the best of us and helps us to begin real forgiveness. Especially if we do it prayerfully following the instructions of Scripture.
