Love of country is linked in the Heavenly Doctrine to the commandment to honor father and mother. Our celebration of Independence Day is an acknowledgment that our forefathers decided that they would no longer have allegiance to England. All of us have had times when we disagreed with one decision or another made by our leaders. How might the Lord want us to respond to such disagreements?
