The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: In 1812 Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm first published their collection of old tales. Devoutly Christian, the brothers believed that "fairy tales are survivals of an ancient faith that goes back to the earliest times, a faith which is expressed in the pictorial representations of things that go beyond the senses."
