The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: Love to the Lord and love of self are opposed to each other. If we enter the kingdom of God, love to the Lord rules. If we do not enter the kingdom of God, it is probable that love of self will rule. If we wish to enter the kingdom of God, by ordering our outward activities to act in conjunction with the Lord.
