The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The Lord Jesus Christ needed an natural father and Joseph accepted that role. Joseph both adopted, provided, protected, and sacrificed for Jesus. The story of our Lord Jesus Christ does not spend much time on Joseph as natural father, but more on Jesus as Son of God. Jest like Joseph our fatherhood depends on our heavenly father.
