The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The Lord commands us to honor our father and mother. The reason for this is the family is the basis of community—economic, political, and religious. From a religious perspective the care of children has been delegated specifically to the family, not to the church. The application of this begins with honoring our parents. Task: Write a tribute to your parents and either frame it and give it to them or give it to other family members.
