Our mission is to preserve New Church audio recordings and make them available to all. We provide audiobooks of works by Emanuel Swedenborg, recordings of New Church sermons, Swedenborgian classes, and more. These offer opportunities for Bible study and spiritual growth, exploring Biblical symbolism and New Church theology.

New Church Audio is a program of The New Church, an international Christian organization.

The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

  • Spiritual Principles for Voting

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 24 Apr, 2016

As we consider who to elect to offices in our government, we can look to the Lord's teachings to guide us. The Lord tells us there are three qualities to look for in an organizational leader: skilled in the Law, wise, and God Fearing. He also provides us principles by which to prioritize our choice of policy or platform planks: spirituality/justice, morality, economics. If we look to the Lord Jesus Christ and allow Him to guide our choices of leaders, our country will be able to be lead and healed by Him. | By Rev. Derrick Lumsden , Sarver, PA

  • Who Does Not Believe Will Be Condemned

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 27 Mar, 2016

This year, as we celebrate Easter, we are focusing on the Gospel Mark. One of the features of the account from Mark is a strong emphasis on belief—people who believe that Jesus has risen, people who do not, what will happen to those that do and do not believe. This Sunday will be an opportunity for each person to reflect on what they believe about Jesus and the Easter story and how the Lord can strengthen each person’s belief. | By Rev. Malcolm G. Smith , Westville, RSA

  • The Philistines Return the Ark

Worship Service: Sermon only - 24 Jan, 2016

Last week we explored the story of the Philistines capturing the ark of the Covenant and the terrible things that happened to them because of it. The Philistines represent a faith that is devoid of love and charity. The terrible things that happened to them represent the spiritual damage that we do to ourselves when we separate faith from charity. This morning we will continue this story and read about how the Philistines eventually chose to return the Ark of the Covenant to its rightful owner - the Children of Israel. The story of how they did this is filled with wonderful representations of how the Lord leads us away from the destructive life of faith alone, and towards a life where faith and charity are conjoined. Three images stand out: 1. The Philistines built a new cart to carry the Ark back to Israel... 2. They made five golden tumors and five golden mice... 3. They yoked two milk cows to the cart... This week reflect on the rich image of how the Philistines returned the Ark of the Covenant to Israel. How is this an image of the Lord inviting us to escape a faith alone existence? How does the Lord lead us to conjoin our faith with a life of love and charity? | By Rev. Matthew L. Genzlinger , West Concord, MA

  • Good News - Sacrifice

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 13 Sep, 2015

The Lord sacrificed His life to bring us closer to the Divine. The details of His death demonstrates the ways people can separate truth from love, humanity from divinity. • Weakness and Strength Part 3: After the Battle

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 23 Aug, 2015

The Gideon story unfortunately doesn’t end with the glorious victory over the Midianites. There’s some confusing, brutal conflict with other Israelites; there’s an execution of two Midianite kings; and then there’s an idol that Gideon makes that people start worshipping. It’s not the kind of story that we like to read and yet, if we want to gain an accurate picture of what is involved in living a spiritual life, it’s important to also look at the uncomfortable reality of what can happen after the times of strength and victory. | By Rev. Malcolm G. Smith , Westville, RSA
