Our mission is to preserve New Church audio recordings and make them available to all. We provide audiobooks of works by Emanuel Swedenborg, recordings of New Church sermons, Swedenborgian classes, and more. These offer opportunities for Bible study and spiritual growth, exploring Biblical symbolism and New Church theology.

New Church Audio is a program of The New Church, an international Christian organization.

The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

If you enjoyed listening, please consider making a donation to support this service.

  • Why Heaven and Hell are Relevant Today - Part 1 Heaven

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 16 Jul, 2017

Heaven and hell can seem like fuzzy, distant, old-fashioned ideas - something from a different era, like fairytales with heroes and monsters. A lot of people today aren't sure that heaven and hell even exist and those that do think they exist often think of them as something that will only be relevant later in life, when they're getting ready to die. The New Church perspective is that heaven and hell are realities that we deal with every day and that what we believe about them can have a profound impact on our lives. Come and hear the New Church perspective on heaven this Sunday. | By Rev. Malcolm G. Smith , Westville, RSA

Worship Service: Sermon only - 18 Jun, 2017

The man of the church at this date knows scarcely anything about heaven and hell or about his life after death, although all these matters are set forth and described in the word; and yet many of those born within the church refuse to believe in them, saying in their hearts, "Who has come from that world and told us?" | By Rt. Rev. Peter Martin Buss, Sr. , Bryn Athyn Cathedral

  • Walls and Gates

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 11 Jun, 2017

  • Becoming More Christ-Like

Worship Service: Sermon only - 12 Mar, 2017

Christianity, at the organizational or individual level, suffers when there is no genuine charity. Therefore, to be more Christian, or to be more Christ-like, requires a transformation that sees a growing focus on loving the Lord and loving others. When true charity is combined with a true understanding of the Lord's message, the church and the individual, rather than facing destruction, grows into what the Lord and other people need the church and the individual to be. | By Rev. Garry B Walsh , Phoenix, AZ

  • Christmas - Gifts to the Lord

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 18 Dec, 2016

The gift that is most precious to the Lord is gratitude for the gifts He gives us. That acknowledgement is worship. | By Rev. Derrick Lumsden , Sarver, PA

  • Why We Have Sacraments 1- Baptism

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 18 Sep, 2016

This Sunday we have the privilege of witnessing an infant baptism. And so, in the sermon, we’re going to be talking about baptism and Holy Supper. Here’s a passage to get you thinking about the topic. Have you ever had thoughts along these lines? If the spiritual meaning of the Word had not been disclosed,… [people] might mutter and say to themselves, “What is baptism but pouring water on a baby’s head? What does that do for the baby’s salvation? What is the Holy Supper but taking bread and wine? What does that do for our salvation? For that matter, what is holy about these rituals, other than the fact that the ecclesiastical hierarchy has traditionally accepted them as sacred and divine and has commanded us to observe them? Although the churches claim that when the Word of God is brought near the elements they become sacred, these rituals are essentially just ceremonial.” … Yet from the point of view of their spiritual meaning, these two sacraments are the holiest acts of worship. (True Christianity §667) When we understand the significance of baptism and Holy Supper they can become a very meaningful part of our spiritual lives, rather than just arbitrary seeming rituals. | By Rev. Malcolm G. Smith , Westville, RSA

  • Seeing the Lord

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 7 Aug, 2016

We trust our senses. If I see something with my own eyes I know it's real, and if I can't see it I might question if it's real. Yet we believe in the Lord and none of us has seen Him. We'll talk about how we can see the Lord and about why it's important, and even vital, that we see Him. | By Rev. Erik J. Buss , Westville, RSA

  • Guilt and Remorse

Worship Service: Sermon only - 24 Jul, 2016

We'll explore this and more, and then have a chance to come before the Lord for Holy Supper to ask His help in moving forward. | By Rev. Erik J. Buss , Westville, RSA

  • Welcome to the Holy City New Jerusalem

Worship Service: Sermon only - 26 Jun, 2016

  • Becoming Truly New Church

Worship Service: Sermon only - 12 Jun, 2016

This message considers what it means to truly be New Church. It seems that it is more than identification with a set of teachings or a religious community. Garry B Walsh , Phoenix, AZ

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 12 Jun, 2016
