Our mission is to preserve New Church audio recordings and make them available to all. We provide audiobooks of works by Emanuel Swedenborg, recordings of New Church sermons, Swedenborgian classes, and more. These offer opportunities for Bible study and spiritual growth, exploring Biblical symbolism and New Church theology.

New Church Audio is a program of The New Church, an international Christian organization.

The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

  • Paying Attention to What Works

Worship Service: Family (may include music) - 14 Jan, 2018

The Lord has given each of us a mind that can be good at making decisions but those decisions can be quite flawed. He works with us each moment of our life trying to lead us to see the possibility of better choices in the future. This requires us to recognize that sometimes change is needed . The opening hymn and the offertory have been replaced by hymns from a later service, because the original music is copyright protected. Lori & John Odhner hold copyright on "You Are the Vine". • Helping Each Other: Part 3 - Offering Spiritual Support

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 3 Sep, 2017

In this sermon we are concluding the Helping Each Other series by talking about how to offer spiritual support. It sounds so good–offering spiritual support. And it is so good and can make such a difference when it’s done well. But offering spiritual support can also be done badly–people can be arrogant, controlling, clueless, etc. in the ways they approach "trying to help" and they can end up actually making things worse. But the answer isn’t that we should stop trying. Let’s learn what the Lord teaches about how to avoid common pitfalls and how we can best approach offering spiritual support to others. • Looking for the Good in People

Worship Service: Informal Family - 20 Aug, 2017

We as a human race are often stuck in the evil of hatred and violence. In Genesis chapter 18, Abraham pleads with the Lord, and asks Him if He would still destroy Sodom even if there were just a few good people there. The Lord says He would spare the city if there were just a few good people there. This story describes how desperately the Lord wants the whole human race to be rescued from “Sodom” (representing the evil of hatred and violence) and to get to heaven. The Lord sets an example for how we too can look for even the smallest amount of goodness in other people. | By Rev. Solomon J. Keal , Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • How to Help People

Worship Service: Informal Family - 5 Mar, 2017

  • Taking Proper Care of Ourselves

Worship Service: Sermon only - 9 Oct, 2016

In Luke 14 the Lord's words can make it seem as if we should hate the other members of our families, as well as ourselves. In reality He is telling us that we should hate the fact that we have negative tendencies like selfishness or perhaps self-pity. The Lord want us to work with Him to move away from the influence of these things and to start more fully enjoying His peace of mind and happiness. | By Rev. Garry B Walsh , Phoenix, AZ

  • Praying for Others

Worship Service: Sermon only - 18 Sep, 2016

Our prayers are a reflection of our hearts. Therefore, if we are concerned because another person is feeling some type of pain, we might be inspired by the Lord to pray for them. We are not trying to tell the Lord something that He doesn't already know, or to instruct Him when He already is moving things in the best direction through His infinite love and wisdom. Instead, our prayers are simply expressions of our love. And love, we are told, can have amazingly positive effects, even when those affects are not immediately obvious. | By Rev. Garry B Walsh , Phoenix, AZ

  • Lord, Teach Us To Pray

Worship Service: Sermon only - 4 Sep, 2016

This message considers the true power of prayer. Prayer is conversation with God. He wants to provide us with the peace and inspiration that comes when we are united to Him. But, that union cannot be formed unless we are communicating with Him. That communication is prayer. | By Rev. Garry B Walsh , Phoenix, AZ

  • Best Friends
