The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The beginning of the service will start with the rite of confirmation where a young adult will confess her faith. Afterwards, the talk will focus on how to develop a strong faith that is rock solid and can withstand the attacks from hell. In the gospels, the disciple Peter is a symbol for faith, so we will look at some of the lessons we can learn from Peter’s attitude and actions.
