The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The Lord’s apparent absence when the disciples were on the Sea of Galilee during a storm mirrors our periodic sense of the Lord not being where we need Him. Yet, the Lord did come to them and stopped the waves. What can we take from this story? Where is the Lord in our troubled times? And what can we do to have the sense of His presence?
