The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: It was unusual for the Pharisees and the Sadducees to agree about anything, but they were united in opposition to the Lord and His teaching. He compared their influence on the society at the time to leaven, although another time the Lord compared the kingdom of heaven to leaven added to bread dough. This is a story about how the Lord works with us to find what’s truly good in the world we live in.
