"Kings = thinking from self love. Prophets = thinking from conscience. Two seemingly opposite forces at work here, forming the mind. A more refined conscience is represented by Elisha who belongs to the next year. Was very different from Elijah. The religion of childhood must be replaced by the religion of adult life before the conscience can again function as govenor of self-will."
