The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The Lord healed a man who had been possessed by demons. These demons kept him from being near others and caused him to harm himself. The Lord has promised that this kind of possession can no longer take place but He does want us to recognize how evil spirits try to influence our thoughts and actions in ways that also separate us from others and are hurtful to ourselves. He would heal us of this influence with our cooperation.
