The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: We think of diseases as something caused by a virus, a bacterium, a lifestyle habit, or the like. The Lord gives a lot of teaching about the impact of the spiritual world and our spiritual choices on disease. We'll look at ways to weave together the ways our spiritual choices can make a difference to the presence of disease in the world and in our lives, while still acknowledging the common understanding of science.
