The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: A Child of Laughter: The Gift of a Wise and Loving Mind. When Abraham and Sarah each heard that they were to have a son they laughed. There was no consequence for Abraham's laughter but Sarah was questioned about hers. The Lord offers each of us a future that is very different from what we have had in the past. Part of us can rejoice in this idea and another can scoff with harmful consequences.
