The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The final portion of the Christmas story describes how Joseph, Mary and the young Child Jesus traveled from Bethlehem to the safety of Egypt. Later, when it was safe to return, they settled in Nazareth of Galilee. We consider how these moves, plus the moving and other traveling described in the Lord's Word, speak to us about the forward spiritual movement that we to be making throughout the course of our lives.
