The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: The Lord teaches us that when visit the prisoner we visit Him. We can do this physically and spiritually. We visit the spiritual prisoner by maintaining connections with people who are convinced of their ideas regardless of God's Word. The Lord's freeing the captives symbolize His freeing people to think from truth.
