The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: Balaam’s prophecy of the Lord’s birth can be a powerful image of the light the Lord wants to bring to our lives and that He is the King of Kings or the source of wise and loving order for our lives. In preparing for the advent season we can see this prophecy as a reminder of what we can do to welcome the Lord’s birth in our lives.
