The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: "And Hagar saw that she had conceived, and her mistress was despised in her eyes." (Genesis 16:4) When young people begin to develop the power of reason it is often used to find fault with others. Why do our rational powers develop at first in a rather negative way? It is part of God's plan to lead to true intelligence.
