The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: To be open to new ideas we have to recognize the things that are closing us down. The Lord identifies three of them: our competing thought life, a shallow commitment to the ideas, and competing desires. If we turn to the Lord He will help us be open to new ideas.
