The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: We are told that when the Lord was in the world He never chose evil but we also are told that He matured, He "increased in wisdom". How does His remaining behind in Jerusalem at age 12 and worrying His parents reflect an aspect of this increasing wisdom? How does this help us to see similar opportunities for growing wisdom in us?
