The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.

When we think of people in prison, we generally suppose that they are there because they have done something to deserve incarceration. Is the Lord asking us to provide help or comfort to people whose problems are their own fault?
