The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: God called Moses from a Burning Bush. The first thing he told Moses to do was, "Take your shoes off." In terms of our own spiritual development, there are areas of our life where we too should "take off our shoes" or reprioritize our lives, so that natural concerns do not dominate. When we can do this, we allow ourselves to hear God's voice speaking to us.
