The New Church is a Christian denomination based on the Bible and the revelation given to Emanuel Swedenborg. We believe that true faith is loving the Lord Jesus Christ by following his teachings and being of service to others.
Description: If we will well to the neighbor, the spirit of charity inflows as an uplifting, a perception and sensation of uplifting of mind and body. In our age, faith is the means of salvation. Faith separated from charity causes spiritual death, but the only way by which man can come to a heavenly life, is that faith be preserved in him until it can be infilled with spiritual affection.
