Worship Service: Informal Family - 3 Dec, 2017

  • From Seedtime To Harvest - What Is Stunting My Spiritual Growth?

Worship Service: Sermon only - 22 Oct, 2017

There are many places in the Scriptures where the Lord compares the process of spiritual growth to the growing of a seed. This week's inspiration looks at three things that may be preventing this seed from growing. Why does my faith, my love for the Lord and my spiritual life in general seem to be wilting away? | By Matthew Genzlinger, West Concord, MA

  • Jonah, Part 4 - Right to be Angry?

Worship Service: Informal Family - 27 Aug, 2017

  • Looking for the Good in People

Worship Service: Informal Family - 20 Aug, 2017

We as a human race are often stuck in the evil of hatred and violence. In Genesis chapter 18, Abraham pleads with the Lord, and asks Him if He would still destroy Sodom even if there were just a few good people there. The Lord says He would spare the city if there were just a few good people there. This story describes how desperately the Lord wants the whole human race to be rescued from “Sodom” (representing the evil of hatred and violence) and to get to heaven. The Lord sets an example for how we too can look for even the smallest amount of goodness in other people. | By Solomon J. Keal, Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall

  • Jonah, Part 2 - Miracle of Change

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 13 Aug, 2017

The Lord has the power to perform miracles, but miracles without inner faith do not help us. If we believe in the Word and the miracles performed there, we can develop an inner faith which the Lord can use to do the most important miracles, change our hearts and minds. | By Derrick Lumsden, Sarver, PA

  • Between Us and Sin

Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - 9 Jul, 2017

The Lord stands between people and sin. We are the church when we let him do that for us and when we do that for other people. | By Derrick Lumsden, Sarver, PA

  • Jesus Wept

Worship Service: Informal Family - 2 Apr, 2017

Sometimes we feel that God is far away when we are going through difficult times. But He wants us to have this picture: He, the God of heaven and earth, weeps - why? Because He loves us so much. We are told that "Jesus weeps" in the internal sense is "love grieving." | By Thomas Kline, Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall
